An opportunity for feedback on the future of Mariners Park is now live through an online survey! Visit Prince Rupert is providing a chance to provide feedback and potentially win a $100 gift card to the Prince Rupert business of your choice. The survey will be open until July 7th at 5pm. Two winners will be selected from the entries.
Tourism Prince Rupert has been leading the charge, with input and support from the City and other stakeholders, to develop new designs for Mariners Park that enhance it as a premier destination in Prince Rupert. Community feedback sessions were held in April, and there is now an online survey available to give your input. This is still very much in the design phase, but they have been actively pursuing grant funds to put towards this community project. We look forward to hearing what the community has to say, and are grateful for partnerships like these with organizations dedicated to making Prince Rupert better.
(Note that we are very cognizant of the important memorial tributes within the park space - and will be sure to retain the role that it plays in memorializing residents lost at sea).
