In the winter of 2025, we asked for honest feedback from staff about what it’s like to work here at the City of Prince Rupert — what’s going well, and where we can improve. Feedback collected is now being integrated into internal planning to enhance our retention and recruitment planning for both the short and long term.
The survey included questions about communication, fairness, training, job satisfaction, recognition, leadership, and growth opportunities, as well as opportunities for open ended feedback. We will implement a phased plan to address many of the concerns brought forward in 2026 and will complete a full Survey follow up in 2027 as part of our commitment to ongoing improvement.
