Notice is hereby given that a Public Hearing with respect to an Official Community Plan Amendment Bylaw No. 3527, 2024 and Zoning Amendment Bylaw No. 3528, 2024 will be held on Monday, May 27th at 6:00 p.m. in Council Chambers, Second Floor of City Hall, 424 West 3rd Avenue, Prince Rupert, B.C. 

Purpose: To amend the OCP to extend the City Core Development Permit Area, including the Downtown District and the Waterfront Character Area, to encompass the subject properties and to rezone the subject properties from M3 - Waterfront Industrial Zone & C1: Core Commercial Zone to WT: Waterfront Terminal Zone.

Copies of the proposed Bylaw amendment can also be obtained on our website or the front desk of City Hall. 

At the Public Hearing all persons who deem themselves affected by the zoning changes may present written submissions respecting the Application.
