Take the City's Transportation Survey

Public Notice

Have you heard? The City is currently developing a Transportation Plan - which we're calling Connect Rupert - and we're looking for community feedback.

There's both an online survey component and an interactive map - and if you complete the survey or submit to the map you can be entered to win one of three of the tote bags pictured below. Scroll to the bottom of the page to submit your survey/place pins on the interactive map.

Take the Survey and Provide Input to the Interactive Map

A quick 'How To' for the interactive map is below:

  1. Click the Map tab at the bottom of the page, and then click “Go to Map”;
  2. To add a location that represents a strength or weakness in Prince Rupert's transportation network, click the “+” sign and then drag and drop the Strength or Weakness icon onto the desired location.
  3. Add a comment about why the location was selected, as well as contact info to be entered to win a prize, and submit!

We appreciate everyone who has already taken the time to fill out the surveys, and encourage everyone to check it out. The final plan will provide strategies and actions for improving various modes of transportation (e.g., walking, cycling, rolling, driving, or using a mobility aid, transit, school bus, or taxis) and improving connections to air-, water-, and rail-based modes of transportation. It will provide a long-term strategic vision that will guide transportation and infrastructure priorities and projects over the next 5-10 years.

Also - a quick note that if you have already tried to fill out the survey, but were prompted to log in or register - that issue has now been amended so that everyone can submit their responses even if you aren't registered with Rupert Talks.

We're looking forward to hearing from you!
