Boil Water Notice in Effect

The Boil Water Notice, put into place at the end of November, is now anticipated to last another 4-6 weeks. As noted in a previous update, in December the City became aware that due to the installation of the new water supply main there is an isolated section of pipe where water has sat too long. This water has the potential to be reintroduced to the water supply. In recent weeks the City and contractors working on the project have identified and commenced the work plan to address this issue. The City has been provided a completion date for the end of February for the project, and will work to reduce that timeframe wherever possible.

Notice is hereby given that there will be a Closed Council Meeting - June 13, 2022 at 5:00pm

RESOLUTION TO EXCLUDE THE PUBLIC

THAT Council hereby declares that the meeting held at 5:00 p.m. on June 13, 2022 is to be closed to the public and that the basis of this closure is that the item(s) on the agenda of this meeting comply with the following closed meeting criteria specified in Section 90 of the Community Charter:

90.1 (i) the receipt of advice that is subject to solicitor-client privilege, including communications necessary for that purpose; and,
- (k) negotiations and related discussions respecting the proposed provision of a municipal service that are at their preliminary states and that, in the view of council, could reasonably be expected to harm the interest of the municipality if they were held in public.
