In accordance with Section 40 and 94 of the Community Charter, the City of Prince Rupert gives notice that it will consider Road Closure and Removal of Road Dedication Bylaw No. 3488, 2022 (the “Road Closure Bylaw”) at the Regular Council Meeting of April 25th at 7:00 p.m. The Road Closure Bylaw will operate to close and remove the 0.23 Hectare section of road dedication from the portion of Market Place identified on the map below. This Road Closure will enable the future construction of a new RCMP station in the area formerly occupied by the Jehovah’s Witness Kingdom Hall. 

The City of Prince Rupert invites anyone who considers themselves affected by the Road Closure Bylaw to submit written comments. Inquiries as well as comments concerning the proposed road closure should be addressed to Rosamaria Miller, Corporate Administrator, at City Hall, 424 3rd Avenue West, Prince Rupert BC, V8J 1L7 or sent via email to rosamaria.miller@princerupert.ca no later than 4:00 pm, Monday, April 25th, 2022.
