Home Owner Grant

Home Owner Grant Application Process (Via the Province)

The home owner grant reduces the amount of property taxes you pay each year on your principal residence. The grant is no longer completed at City Hall and  MUST be applied for each year before the Property Tax payment deadline (July 4th this year) or a Provincial penalty will be applied.  Home owners must make application to the Province for the Home Owner Grant.

Go to the Provincial Website or call Toll-free 1-888-355-2700  for more information and to make application.
