The City of Prince Rupert has received a referral from the Liquor and Cannabis Licensing Board regarding an application from Wheelhouse Brewing Company to make permanent the Temporary Extended Service Area (TESA) (their outdoor patio area) granted to the business in lieu of indoor capacity restrictions put in place by the Province in response to pandemic conditions. The Province extended the authorization of existing TESAs and has encouraged businesses apply to make the authorizations permanent.

The City of Prince Rupert is inviting comment from the public on this Application prior to making a decision on whether to support the Application.  Anyone wishing to make comment on the Application may do so by submitting written comments in writing to the Corporate Administrator on or before 4:00 pm Friday, June 24th, 2022.

City Council will present their decision at the Regular Meeting of Council Monday, June 27th, at 7:00 pm.
