Campfires & Open Burning Prohibited in BC

The City of Prince Rupert has lifted the fire ban within the municipality, as per Bylaw 2944, 1995.

 

 

 

As of July 3rd, 2015, campfires and open burning are prohibited throughout the majority of the province of BC. This also applies to all areas public and private within the Prince Rupert and District of Port Edward municipal boundaries. The only excluded area is the ‘fog zone’ along the western coast of Vancouver Island.
