Notice of Public Hearing on Interim Zoning Amendment Bylaw No. 3408, 2016 to temporarily establish commercial marijuana operations as a Prohibited Use in all zones

Notice is hereby given that a Public Hearing with respect to Interim Zoning Amendment Bylaw No. 3408, 2016 will be held on Monday, February 6th, 2017, commencing at 7:00 p.m. in Council Chambers, Second Floor of City Hall, 424 West 3rd Avenue, Prince Rupert, B.C.

 

Purpose: Interim Zoning Amendment Bylaw No. 3408, 2016 will temporarily establish commercial marijuana operations as a Prohibited Use in all zones

 

A copy of the Bylaw and relevant background documentation may be inspected at the City of Prince Rupert City Hall during regular office hours (9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.) from Monday through Friday from January 23rd, 2017 to February 3rd, 2017. The Bylaw received First and Second Readings at the Regular Meeting of Council January 6th, 2017, and will be considered for Third reading and final Adoption at the Regular Meeting following the Public Hearing on February 6th, 2017.

 

At the Public Hearing all persons who deem themselves affected by the proposed Bylaw shall be afforded a reasonable opportunity to be heard or to present written submissions respecting matters contained in the Bylaw. If you cannot attend the Public Hearing, all written submissions (mailed, or electronic) must be received by the Corporate Administrator by no later than 4:30 p.m. on Friday, February 3rd, 2017.
