Notice is hereby given that a COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE COUNCIL MEETING will be held on June 22, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers of City Hall, 424 – 3 rd Avenue West, Prince Rupert, B.C.
The Committee of the Whole is proceeding in an adjusted format to abide by Ministerial orders and physical distancing guidelines. Those wishing to bring forward an issue to Council are invited to do so in the following manner:

By leaving a voice mail at 250-627-0963.
RESOLUTION TO EXCLUDE THE PUBLIC THAT Council hereby declares that the meeting held at 5:00 p.m. on June 8, 2020 is to be closed to the public and that the basis of this closure is that the item(s) on the agenda of this meeting comply with the following closed meeting criteria specified in Section 90 of the Community Charter:
90.1 (c) labour relations or other employee relations; and,
(e) the acquisition, disposition or expropriation of land or improvements, if the council considers that such disclosure could reasonably be expected to harm the interests of the municipality.
As per Section 224 of the Community Charter

At its meeting of June 8th, 2020 Council received the 2019 Annual Report and approved it for circulation.
The City is phasing into re-opening of our Parks and tot lots. Once barriers such as caution tape, signs, or fencing are removed, the space will be inspected and then open for public use.
Please note, that the playground equipment is not being cleaned or disinfected.

As property tax notices are currently being sent out to homeowners, we would like to remind residents of options for online and remote payment and completion of your homeowner grant form - which are preferred methods at this time. We have also developed a step by step guide (in the attached images) to help guide you through the process of online application for the Home Owner Grant.
