RESOLUTION TO EXCLUDE THE PUBLIC THAT Council hereby declares that the meeting held at 5:00 p.m. on May 25, 2020 is to be closed to the public and that the basis of this closure is that the item(s) on the agenda of this meeting comply with the following closed meeting criteria specified in Section 90 of the Community Charter:

90.1 (c) labour relations or other employee relations;

(e) the acquisition, disposition or expropriation of land or improvements, if the council considers that disclosure could reasonably be expected to harm the interests of the municipality; and,

Proposed Variance of Section 5.2.4 (a) of the Zoning Bylaw No. 3286, 2009 

The Council of the City of Prince Rupert will consider passing a resolution issuing the above referenced Development Variance Permit, at its Regular Council Meeting of: 

Monday, May 11, 2020 

The purpose of the variance is to permit the applicant to vary the front yard setback from the minimum of 3.6 m (11.8 ft.) to 2.9 m (9.5 ft.) in order to install a canopy over the front entrance.
