Notice is hereby given that a PUBLIC MEETING will be held on December 12, 2018 at 5:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers of City Hall, 424 – 3rd Avenue West, Prince Rupert, B.C.
The purpose of this meeting is to hear public feedback on Bylaw No. 3432, 2018 to Amend the Trade or Business Licence Bylaw No. 2426, 1982 to Establish Regulations for Cannabis Retail Stores.
Following this opportunity, Council will hold a Special Regular Meeting to give final consideration to the Bylaw Amendment.
Notice is hereby given that a SPECIAL REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING will be held on December 12, 2018 immediately following the Public Meeting scheduled to begin at 5:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers of City Hall, 424 – 3 nd Avenue West, Prince Rupert, B.C.
RESOLUTION TO EXCLUDE THE PUBLIC THAT Council hereby declares that the meeting held at 5:00 p.m. on December 10, 2018 is to be closed to the public and that the basis of this closure is that the item(s) on the agenda of this meeting comply with the following closed meeting criteria specified in Section 90 of the Community Charter: 90.1
Please be advised that City crews will be working to repair a water leak in the 1300 block of 8th Avenue East (in the vicinity of Conrad school) for the duration of the day today. Crews will be blocking off the roadway of 8th Avenue East between Hays Cove Avenue and Frederick St. while the repairs are conducted. Water pressures in that area may be impacted for short durations over the course of the day. Please obey all posted traffic signage. Thank you for your patience.

Notice of the Committee of the Whole Meeting - December 10, 2018
Please be advised, City crews will be closing the road in the 100 block of 5th West at 1 pm today between Dunsmuir and McBride Street. This closure is required in order to conduct a water service repair. Crews are anticipating the work will be completed and road reopened by end of day. Thank you for your patience and we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

During this time, evening Friday schedules will be in effect every weekday.
