Please be advised that the Boil Water Notice that was ONLY issued in a section of 11th Avenue and surrounding streets has now been fully removed following the completion of water repairs in that area and approval from Northern Health. Homeowners have been provided direct notification by mail with respect to these changes.
As a result of the water system being fully restored, residents in that area may experience water sputtering and containing sediment (debris). Do not be alarmed. We recommend that you turn on your bath tub and run for at least 10 minutes. This is the largest faucet in your home and it does not have a screen on it that will clog with debris. Running all household taps for ten minutes or so will ensure air (which causes sputtering) and debris are cleared from your taps. Do not run appliances that use the water system (laundry, dishwasher, fridges) until water runs clear. This may take up to ten minutes.
